Sydney had just experienced four or five days of solid rain when, late on a Sunday afternoon, there was a break in the weather. Since I was suffering cabin fever, I grabbed my camera and headed out. North Curl Curl is only a couple of beaches south of my home, but I had never seen the obelisk before.
